Let the drum beats and the dragon charges!

Singapore Dragon Boat Festival 2022 just wrapped up yesterday. It was held in the new Passion Wave building at Bedok Reservoir. Though not yet completed, it did the job of sheltering us from the temperamental skies.
Punggol Coast CSN a.k.a. Team Kraken sent down four teams and despite the rain and sun, everyone was in good spirits and appreciated the efficient flow of events. The drum set is back in place post-Covid and so each competing boat was a DB12.
TM Hamdan wanted everyone to thoroughly enjoy the race, but Coach GW wanted 100 percent from every paddler. And so the general mood throughout was to treat every 500 meter as your last race ever, while not stressing yourself out. As a team of paddlers that come from all walks of life, to be in the same boat (pun intended) with such happy mindset is in its own an achievement.
On Saturday, PA GRO Mixed team had the honour of being visited by Community Sports Network Chairman and Vice Chairlady.
We are grateful for their continuous support.
We would also like to thank SDBA who organized the Festival well, Team Kraken exco who made sure every crew member had everything he/she needed, TM and Coach who were always there, coxswains and drummers with their valuable insights, and every crew member who have paddled hard.
